Cockermouth Kitchen Company is Jim.

It is his very own enterprise and everything about it matters to him; he wanted us to have as much pleasure and enjoyment in the finished product as he had had in the part the part he played in its planning and construction.

He told me nothing would be too much trouble and proved that not only did he mean it but that this is a philosophy which binds the whole team.

As a total newcomer to the area, I was apprehensive about choosing a kitchen company, but I shouldn’t have worried. Jim, and the showroom team I met, Fiona and Julie, are not only knowledgeable, but accessible, patient, empathetic and always looking to find or offer a solution within budget.

The calibre of the people you work with says a lot about a business and the construction team from Alan, the electrician to Steve, the tiler and of course Carl, the fitter was not only reliable, but very good at what they did – another reason to thank Jim for these and other excellent introductions to local tradespeople, all of whom I have used directly for further works on the house.

It was a happy day when impulse took me into the showroom in Market Place and placed me in the care of such an expert, honest and committed team.

They also have very good chat and make a lovely cup of tea!

Now that my kitchen is finished and everything up and running I would like to thank you for all your help and hard work, both during the planning and the carrying out of the exciting plans. I am delighted with the result and have had lots of compliments about how smart and modern and efficient everything is. Well done!

We had just moved house and were looking around for a distinctive new and very modern kitchen. We walked past the CKC showroom, looked in the window, and there it was. We walked in and were immediately greeted by friendly and informative staff. We decided then and there to proceed. Paul led the design and procurement for our new kitchen and was brilliant, in all ways, throughout. They had their own installation sub contractors who were equally superb in how they went about their work. We have finished up with a new kitchen which has met our every need and with which we are absolutely delighted. I would, without a moments hesitation recommend CKC to anyone. A great job beautifully delivered!

A great kitchen showroom Jim as done a great job excellent choice on modern contemporary designs and a great selection of traditional Shaker style doors. There is definitely something for every taste.

What great service. Jim the owner is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, approachable and friendly and being on a limited budget was not an issue, there is no "pushy" sales speak and my kitchen layout plan was emailed to me the same day of the consultation. Prompt, excellent professional service.
